Advanced Instructor Jason Herrera
Having an interest in martial arts since childhood, Jason had always wanted to be a part of a non-traditional martial art program. At age 15 he was fortunate enough to meet the founder of CQDT, Grandmaster Pedro Rodriguez, who was operating a school in Deltona Fl. From then on Jason studied the CQDT system directly under Grandmaster Rodriguez. He has been fortunate enough to be mentored in reality based martial art technique, theory and instruction from Grandmaster Rodriguez, and to have received his Instructor ranks directly from Grandmaster as well.

Grandmaster Rodriguez, founder of CQDT has developed a style of instructing that communicates both incredible martial technique and theory with unrivaled efficiency. Grandmaster Rodriguez has devoted himself fully to the development and instruction of a reality based martial art system that can be learned and implemented by everyone. His extensive experience includes being the founder of Close Quarter Defense Tactics (CQDT), Grandmaster and President World Huk Ju Sool Hapkido Association, 7th Dan Huk Ju Kwan Hapkido, & Kido-Kan Nihon Ryu Ju-Jutsu, Certified Shihan International Federation of Ju-Jutsuans, Certified Instructor PFS Jeet Kune Do & Kali, Certified Black belt in Tae Kwon Do & Kajukenbo Kenpo, Certified Police Defensive Tactics Instructor.
